Bonebrake Center activities have been seriously curtailed, not surprisingly, due to the COVID-19 virus.  As life opens up a bit, we will add activities, but know we will take reasonable precautions to keep our friends safe.

The land is open during daylight hours to walk and enjoy the flora and fauna, so feel free to come and visit!

Saturday, December 12, 2020       Cookie Walk 2020

The Bonebrake Center of Nature and History is still going to have our annual favorite, the Cookie Walk!  With social distancing in place and requests that all participating wear masks, we are going to be open from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for people to come and pick cookies they want from nearly 75 dozen cookies of various types  You will pay by the pound (in more ways that one, lol), and volunteers will package your choices up for taking home to your family and friends.

Because face-to-face activities are being curtailed, much to our dismay, we have arranged to have VIRTUAL experiences through our Facebook page!  Books read, songs sung, and nature activities demonstrations can be found to help make our distancing more tolerable.  Please check them out and enjoy.

Stay safe, healthy, and enjoy the outdoors!
